  CIMG5709.JPG - gondala ride to the north, higher point, of the wall from Mu Tian Yu. We then hike down to the southern ski life/luge point, about a mile, and it really kicked our asses. Tough going - nothing but steps up or down, no flats, and the steps are irregular in height and width and depth, so you must pay attention for every step. two days later, my calfs are aching and threatening to cramp at every opportunity. But it was worth it. When I am 90, I wil still have walked the great wall of china.
